Responsibilities

JOB ROLE – SEN TUTOR / SEN TEACHER:

We offer our Tutors highly rewarding assignments that are both challenging and fulfilling, with the opportunity to make a real difference in students’ lives. Alongside this, we provide flexibility and ongoing professional support to ensure your success.
At Tutor Doctor, we guarantee a minimum of 5 hours of work per week (Monday to Friday), with the option to extend up to 25 hours if desired and potentially even further!
We’ll work with you to schedule sessions around your existing commitments, giving you the freedom to balance tutoring with your personal life.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Delivering personalised 1:1 tuition in the Solihull area.
  • Preparing and delivering tutoring sessions to best meet the student’s SEN requirements - particularly ADHD and ASC/ASD.
  • Develop individual curriculum for students.
  • Clarifying and teaching subject matter.
  • Assessing and reporting on students’ knowledge on a regular basis.
  • Being a mentor to students.
  • Ensuring the safeguarding of the students you work with.
