Job Introduction
In the SEND Assessment & Review Service, we continue to invest in meeting the needs of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. We have created a dynamic staff team to enable us to support aspirations, be person centred and focus on outcomes.
We are looking for a part-time SEND Assessment and Review Officer who will put children, young people and parents at the heart of everything they do. You will have an understanding of the SEND Code of practice and experience of working in a school or for a local authority. The role will require you to manage a demanding and sometimes complex caseload.
You will be joining a well-resourced SEND Assessment & Review Service and will focus on securing improvement, building positive relationships with children, young people and families as well as maintaining excellent relationships with schools and partners.
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape services in Greenwich and improve outcomes for children, young people and families.
