SEND CLASSROOM ASSISTANT

If so, then this SEND Classroom Assistant position in an outstanding Primary School in Wandsworth is perfect for you! Within this role, you will work alongside multiple pupils of varying academic and social levels both inside and outside of the classroom.
As a SEND Classroom Assistant, you will be assisting pupils in 1:1 or groups in their learning in all curriculum areas with direction from the class teacher, while also assessing and reporting on academic progress to contribute to ongoing academic success. You will be working with pupils of varying SEND needs such as SP&L, ADHD, ASD, Impaired hearing, and vision etc so an attentive, caring, and patient approach will be needed to suit each child’s needs.
This role is perfect if you seek first-hand experience with SEND individuals to aid in future career prospects. (Educational Psychologist, Therapist, Councillor, Youth Worker etc)
