HIGHER LEVEL TEACHING ASSISTANT (HLTA)

Timeplan Education is recruiting a HLTA to lead Food Technology essons in an SEMH school in Barnet. The role would be to teach pre-planned, Food Technology lessons across different classes and year groups. Experience in supporting pupils with SEND and SEMH and experience teaching the subject is essential. You will be working on a full-time, long-term basis.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience teaching Food Technology
  • Experience in supporting children or young adults with SEND and SEMH
  • Able to de-escalate and support emotional regulation
  • Valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one
  • Available 5 days a week and able to commit to at least 12-39 weeks
