  • Experience in a Further Education (FE) environment is desirable, though not essential.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE: SEND JOB COACH

We are seeking enthusiastic Job Coaches to join our supportive team at Guildford College. In this role, you will provide tailored support to young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) enrolled in our Employability Programmes, within the Learners with Learning Difficulties or Disabilities (LLDD) department.
As a Job Coach, you’ll play a vital role in helping students of all abilities develop key employability skills through active participation in our Learning Companies. Working closely with the Learning Company Coordinator, you’ll ensure the smooth daily operation of these work-based learning environments. Flexibility is key, as you may be required to support across multiple Learning Companies based on need.
In addition to delivering practical coaching, you will monitor student progress, assess performance, and guide learners in achieving their individual goals and learning outcomes.
This is a full-time, term-time only role (0.8 FTE), working Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm.
