ABOUT THE ROLE

Birmingham’s SEND services are growing as part of the council’s long-term commitment to children, young people and their families with more than 150 permanent roles being created. We’re putting evidence and a data driven approach at the heart of SEND improvement to make sure we can identify and respond to Children and Young People’s needs effectively. We’re looking for motivated people who combine a passion for SEND with proven analytical skills and experience to join us and make a meaningful impact in this priority area.
You’ll be joining a newly established SEND Evidence and Analysis team providing support, evidence and analysis to a range of operational, corporate, statutory and strategic users. The team will be responsible for the availability, accuracy, assurance, and analysis of a range of SEND data (characteristics, needs, services, outcomes) to provide impactful insights to SEND service providers and users.
