We are seeking passionate SEN / SEND Teachers and Tutors with Core Subject experience (English, Science, or Maths Teachers and Tutors) to support our cohort of young people with additional needs across England.
Multiple positions are available and hiring is ongoing to meet the wide variety of needs we support.

ABOUT US:

At Targeted Provision we are on a mission to support the UK’s most vulnerable young people and are dedicated to transforming the quality of education provided to young people with additional needs, including SEN (Special Education Needs) / SEND (Special Education Needs and Disabilities), SEMH needs (Social, Emotional and Mental Health), MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties) and SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties).

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status / QTS / QTLS)
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience
  • Experience in English, Maths, and / or Science
  • Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and / or other Additional Educational Needs
  • A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to teaching and supporting young people.
  • Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)
  • Two professional references
  • You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote / online jobs
  • An understanding of safeguarding and the ability to maintain a safe learning environment.

Responsibilities

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver personalised tutoring sessions to young people with a range of additional needs.
  • Provide guidance and support for the social and emotional development of students
  • Foster a safe and encouraging learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to the student’s development.
  • Planning sessions and provideing regular feedback on student progress.
