PART-TIME SEND TEACHER

Location: Liverpool
Hours: Part-Time – 9:00am to 3:30pm, 3–4 days per week (Term-Time Only)
Milk Education is working in partnership with a group of specialist SEND provisions across Liverpool, supporting children and young people aged 5–16 with a range of complex needs including autism, SEMH, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
We are seeking a qualified and experienced SEND Teacher to work part-time across either primary or secondary settings, depending on your expertise. You’ll be teaching small groups of pupils with EHCPs, many of whom have experienced trauma or exclusion from mainstream education. A nurturing, trauma-informed approach is essential.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – must be UK-recognised
  • Proven experience working in SEND settings (primary or secondary)
  • Strong understanding of autism, SEMH, and complex learning needs
  • Excellent behaviour management and de-escalation skills
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle – essential due to site locations
