Job Title: SEND Teacher
Location: Mansfield
Start Date: September 2025
Daily Pay Rate: £160–£225 (depending on experience and qualifications)
Are you a dedicated SEND Teacher looking for a rewarding role in Mansfield and/or the surrounding areas?
Provide Education—a local specialist recruitment agency—is partnering with specialist SEN schools to appoint an inspirational SEND Teacher to join their teams from September 2025.

About the Role

  • Plan and deliver differentiated lessons for pupils with a range of special educational needs (ASD, SEMH, MLD, PMLD)
  • Support pupils in Key Stages 1–4 with bespoke, sensory-aware, and communication-focused teaching strategies
  • Collaborate with SENCOs, therapists, and support staff to implement and monitor EHCP targets
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes independence and confidence
  • Track pupil progress, provide constructive feedback, and report on educational outcomes

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (essential)
  • Proven experience teaching in an SEN or specialist setting
  • Knowledge of alternative communication methods (e.g., Makaton, PECS) and sensory integration strategies
  • Strong behaviour-management skills and a calm, resilient approach
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and record-keeping abilities
