Pay: £84 Per Day, Temp to Perm
Hours: Term Time Only, Monday to Friday 08:30-15:30
Driver: Not essential.
Our school are looking for Teaching Assistants that:

BACKGROUNDS WITH TRANSFERABLE SKILLS:

• Care Worker
• Support Worker
• Youth Worker
• Youth Clubs Worker
• Coaches of activities and sport
• Nursery Practitioners
• Tutoring
• Psychology & Criminology Graduates
• Child Development and other relevant Childcare courses, children psychology/therapy/teaching interest
• Life experience (SEND, SEMH/behaviour within family, friends, other areas)
• Mental health roles
• School volunteering experience (including placements)
• Childminding, babysitting experience
• Foster care experience
  You will also work around young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health issues within the school:
  SEMH needs are a type of special educational need where a child communicates through behaviour in response to unmet social, emotional or mental health needs.
  Children with SEMH needs often have difficulties in managing their emotions or their behaviour. They can show inappropriate responses to their emotions. They can feel scared, anxious and misunderstood. Teaching assistants will need patience, understanding and confidence with any behaviour that may be challenging.
  Being a teaching assistant helps those who need it most, whatever the needs of the children are.
