Smile Education is proud to be working in partnership with the Endeavour Multi Academy Trust on the recruitment for a SEND teaching assistant to join their team from September 2025.
We are currently looking for a part-time, Level 3 teaching assistant with passion and experience in supporting children with SEND.

What will your day look like?

• Supporting a child in a KS2 classroom on a 1:1 basis, following individual education and health plans.
• Managing behaviour securely, following the individual child’s behaviour plan.
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENDCO to ensure high quality learning and development for the individual.
• Providing regulation strategies to support the child’s emotional and behavioural needs.
• Maintaining strong, positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Creating a safe, engaging and positive learning environment.
• Supporting a classroom teaching assistant where required.
• Monitoring individual learning and development progress.
