ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) Teaching Assistant to join a SEND school in Ellesmere Port. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs to help them access the curriculum and reach their full potential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide tailored support to individual students and small groups with SEND.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and the SENCO to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Support pupils with personal care and emotional regulation, where necessary.
• Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to staff and parents.
• Contribute to the planning and delivery of differentiated learning activities.
