SENDCO – FULL TIME – SPECIALIST SCHOOL

We’re looking for a qualified and passionate SENDCo to join a specialist school supporting neurodivergent students aged 11–16. You’ll work closely with an onsite clinical team (including a Clinical Psychologist, SaLT, and OT) to lead on educational interventions, assessments, and EHCP implementation. This role includes training and supporting staff, as well as being part of the Senior Leadership Team shaping the school’s inclusive culture and bespoke curriculum.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • QTS or QTLS
  • SENCO qualification (or willingness to complete NPQ SENCO within 2 years)
  • Strong understanding of SEND Code of Practice
  • Knowledge of assessments and interventions, especially in literacy
  • Experience supporting neurodivergent students and their families
  • Excellent communication and safeguarding knowledge

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
