Job Summary:
We’re seeking a dedicated and student-focused Academic Counselor to provide guidance and support to students in achieving their academic goals. The ideal candidate will have experience in academic advising, student development, and higher education.
Responsibilities:
- Provide academic advising and guidance to students
- Help students create academic plans and set goals
- Assist students in navigating academic policies and procedures
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student success
- Develop and implement programs to promote student retention and engagement
- Maintain accurate records and reports on student progress
- Stay up-to-date with academic programs, policies, and procedures
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Education, or related field
- Experience in academic advising or student affairs
- Strong knowledge of academic policies and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with diverse student populations
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
