Responsibilities

Wintec | Te Pūkenga invites a dynamic and suitably qualified registered nurse (RN) to join our Te Kura o te Oranga (Centre for Health & Social Practice) team in the heart of Waikato. As a leading institution committed to delivering quality education and training, we are excited to offer a permanent part-time position within our postgraduate nursing education team. Your role will include:

The appointing salary for this role will be between $87,600 and $115,000, dependent on skills and experience.

  • Instructing and mentoring students in both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
  • Contributing to curriculum development and enhancement.
  • Developing and fostering a positive and supportive learning environment by using effective teaching strategies and promoting learning consistent with student needs and professional standards.
  • Actively contributing and leading positively and appropriately as a senior academic staff member of the school/centre.
  • Fulfilling necessary administrative, research and course development obligations
