HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:
- Providing day to day support of FullscopeRMS customers’ regulatory obligations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA) and other federal or state regulatory policies or insured disability plans alongside and in collaboration with the customer’s HR and management team, specific to both leave and non-leave workplace accommodations.
- Assisting FullscopeRMS customers’ and their employees in the detailed components of the ADA and PWFA interactive process, which includes (but is not limited to):
- Identify Need for Accommodation
- Medical Certification
- Essential Job Functions
- Initiation of and Completion of Interactive Process Discussions
- Evaluation of Leave, Stay at Work, and Return to Work Accommodations
- Evaluate for Alternative Accommodations
- Determine Approximate Cost for Accommodation
- Assessment if Requested Accommodation would cause Undue Hardship for Employer
- Relaying Assessment to Employers to aid in Employers’ Decision to Accommodate
- Follow-up for Success
- Ongoing Communication
- System Tracking and Reporting
- Evaluation of Requests for Accommodations
- Facilitation of, and engagement in, interactive dialogue with employees, medical professionals, supervisors, and HR business partners to assist employees who require workplace accommodation based upon a medical condition.
- Documentation of the request for accommodation includes detailed points of contact and actions taken to coordinate the accommodation request.
- Assisting employers with identification of essential functions of the job and reviewing employer’s job description.
- Working closely with FullscopeRMS Legal to obtain advice concerning legal requirements.
- Maintaining current knowledge on State and Federal laws and regulations surrounding the ADA and other relevant legislation
- Providing ADA specific education to employers and employees.
- Partnering with external vendors and/or other resources to explore effective accommodation options (e.g. Job Accommodation Network)
- Protecting and maintaining personal health information with a high level of confidentiality abiding by FullscopeRMS procedures and by HIPPA, ADA, PWFA, and other state and federal requirements, rules and regulations as applicable.
- Managing all work within established service time standards and with accurate and appropriate verbal and written communication
