Within the spirit of “Making People’s Dreams Come True”, this position is responsible for assisting Account Managers with their assigned business partners/accounts specifically to develop and oversees the completion of marketing plans. This includes assisting in implementing job requests into the project management system and working with the production team, graphic designers, media reps, and photo/video teams to ensure that all elements of a business partner’s marketing plan are met. This role works to ensure that all the account manager’s projects are up to date, on time and accurate. Periodically, this position may work independently on subsets of projects on behalf of the Account Manager and can support complex accounts or multiple accounts. These duties are accomplished while delivering Raving Fans customer service to both internal and external customers. Responsibilities: * Assist the Account Manager or multiple Account Managers with the planning and organization of marketing plans on various accounts. May assist in the solutioning of the business problem the account is trying to solve. * Coordinate with Account Manager(s) to communicate account goals and needs with other marketing teams responsible for developing and producing projects. * Work with project and production team and designers to develop marketing materials that accurately reflect The Villages Brand and the organization. * Input projects in project management system; track timelines and escalate or resolves if project gets off track or stalls. Often communicates directly with business partners on plan status. * Analyze and track plans to make sure goals were achieved and adjust accordingly. * Attend meetings and assist account leadership in various aspects of managing the account relationship as needed. * Work independently without a lot of direction to help manage the implementation of the assigned account’s marketing plan. * May assist account associates and account coordinators in team lead capacity to mentor and assist with accounts. * Assist marketing team in their overall initiatives as requested. * All other duties as assigned. Education & Experience Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent from a four (4) year College or technical school preferred; or four (4) years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Strong account management skills required, enthusiasm for The Villages and all it has to offer, excellent analytical skills and a proven ability to problem solve creatively to handle a variety of variables. * Must be able to communicate orally confidently and effectively, in writing and electronically. * Must be able to operate under pressure of competing projects and changes of direction. * High interpersonal skills are needed along with the ability to be resourceful, multi-task, set priorities, and manage processes effectively. * Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices. * Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. * Experience seeing projects through a full life cycle with the proven ability to complete a project according to outline scope, budget and timeline required. * Utilize office computer and office equipment (copier, scanner, etc.) along with a host of other software applications, including the Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
