POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Account Director is someone with team responsibilities and is also responsible for the development and implementation of sales strategies and practices by delivering sales targets and meeting KPI’s through the management of a mixed portfolio of clients whilst implementing strategic account management and key account planning programs.
As a Senior Account Director, you will have strong customer focus; interpreting customer inquiries or requests and take appropriate actions to product high levels of customer satisfaction.
To be successful in this role, you will have experience and be motivated to proactively drive revenue from previously unknown or under-leveraged sources and identify and develop opportunities through research and networking. Additionally, you will offer insightful and strategic solutions to business objectives while developing knowledge of client sectors, business, industry issues and products and solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A successful track record in sales including business development, ideally within a consultative environment.
  • Direct management experience leading and developing a team.
  • Experience within the Market Research industry either client or agency.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage your time effectively prioritising tasks to meet a range of tight deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • The ability to communicate effectively to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Be a proactive and motivated ‘go getter’ who thrives in a sales environment.

Responsibilities

Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of management in the context of the role:

  • Deliver sales targets and meet KPI’s through the management of a mixed portfolio of new business and existing clients.
  • Lead, manage and mentor the sales team.
  • Research, identify and secure new business development opportunities. This includes developing sales across various countries and specific channels as per Dynata’s global strategy.
  • Provide online market research sales services through a network of global online consumer research panels. Offer insightful and strategic solutions to business objectives & prepare a wide range of written proposals including full costing quotations.
  • Implement strategic client development and key sales programs.
  • Contribute to the development of new product streams and, if required, champion one stream regionally (e.g. Mobile, Digital, Social, Private Panels & Communities).
  • Participate in the APAC regional management team representing your relevant remit and contributing to regional initiatives and issues.
  • Support the implementation of marketing programs, new product rollouts and other initiatives.
  • Develop knowledge of client sectors, business, industry issues and products and solutions.
  • Liaise closely with operations project delivery management & personnel to ensure the effective project management of commissioned online market research projects.
  • Represent Dynata and/or exhibit at relevant industry trade shows, conferences and seminars as directed.
