Senior Account Executive – Victoria Public Sector
The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for meeting revenue targets in Victoria through direct sales and partner driven sales. The Specific Focus of this territory is the Victorian Public Sector.
Your territory includes a number of installed customers and substantial new business opportunities. Our company is the clear leader in this market space. Genesys have excellent solutions, excellent customers and excellent partners. This is an outstanding opportunity for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in direct sales and therefore ‘high-touch’ capabilities. Previous experience within the Victorian Public sector would be well regarded.
They will ideally have experience in selling business solutions in one or more of the following or closely related categories: Contact Centre, CRM, Solutions/Software, Customer experience platforms, Customer analytics, digital customer engagement, Digital and AI driven CX experience etc.
A track record in sales of cloud platforms and/or digital customer engagement solutions is highly desirable.
It is essential that the candidate has a proven track record of meeting revenue quotas on a quarterly and annual basis. Experience in high value complex sales is important.
The individual must be technically proficient and demonstrate self-sufficiency. This role will work alongside a local pre-sales consultant as well as a range of partners with local representation.
Previous training in any of the well-known industry sales methodologies would be well regarded.
What You’ll Do: In this role, the primary responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Responsible for new Business Development through prospecting, qualifying and selling cloud solutions and services using both Direct and Indirect sales efforts including phone calls, email, social media sites, etc.
