To thrive in this role, we’re looking for someone with the following experience and capabilities:

  • 6+ years of sales experience, including Enterprise-level selling in SaaS
  • 1+ years of experience selling in the climate tech or sustainability space
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and closing multi-year deals
  • Strong ability to manage long and complex sales cycles (6+ months)
  • Skilled in stakeholder mapping and navigating enterprise decision-making structures
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and comfort adopting new technology
  • Highly organized and self-driven, with strong time-management and follow-up skills
  • Familiarity with the GHG Protocol and ESG reporting standards is a plus
Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE IN OUR STORY:

As a Senior Account Executive at Green Project, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving our mission to help businesses reduce their carbon footprint. In this role, you will:

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing clients while proactively sourcing and closing new business opportunities
  • Build long-term, trusted relationships by understanding client needs and aligning our solutions to their ESG goals
  • Lead the full sales cycle—from initial prospecting and discovery to deal negotiation and close
  • Create and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets
  • Use outbound strategies such as cold calling, email outreach, and networking to generate leads
  • Maintain up-to-date records in our CRM and provide regular pipeline and forecasting updates
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with customer success, product, and marketing teams to deliver exceptional client outcomes
  • Stay current on climate regulations, ESG trends, and the GHG Protocol to position Green Project as a trusted advisor
  • Represent Green Project in client meetings, industry events, and partner discussions
