About ASI Solutions
ASI Solutions is an Australian-owned technology partner focused on making lives easier through agile, reliable technology at scale. For nearly 40 years, ASI has supported education, government, and commercial organisations as technology environments have grown more complex and more critical to performance. Our approach is practical and outcomes-led — we take the time to understand what matters to each organisation before designing and delivering right-sized, de-risked solutions across managed services, cloud, security, data and AI, and digital skills. With national capability and local delivery teams, ASI helps customers move forward with clarity and confidence.
What you'll be working on
You'll be joining our national Sales team, based in Hobart, playing a pivotal role in growing ASI's presence across Tasmania. This is a role for someone who loves building — new relationships, new pipelines, and new possibilities. You'll work across the full sales cycle, from identifying and engaging prospective clients to designing tailored IT solutions and closing meaningful deals.
Day to day, you'll be:
- Building and nurturing a client base across hardware, IT solutions, cloud, managed services, and security
- Developing and executing growth strategies for your territory — owning the outcome from first conversation to signed agreement
- Creating compelling proposals, responding to tenders, and leading high-level negotiations with key stakeholders
- Partnering with internal presales, services, and accounts teams to deliver seamless customer experiences
- Keeping a pulse on market trends to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of the curve
- Maintaining accurate CRM records and contributing to pipeline visibility and forecasting
A bit about you
You're a driven, commercially minded sales professional who thrives on building genuine relationships and delivering results. You don't wait for opportunities to come to you — you make them happen. You bring energy, resilience, and a collaborative spirit that makes customers and colleagues alike want to work with you.
You're someone who:
- Brings proven experience in a sales role such as Business Development, Account Management, or similar
- Has a strong understanding of IT solutions and the ability to translate technical capability into customer value
- Communicates with clarity and confidence across all levels — from end users to the C-suite
- Is motivated by targets and has a track record of meeting and exceeding them
- Manages competing priorities with great organisation and follows through on commitments
- Approaches challenges with a constructive, solutions-first mindset
Essential Criteria
- Demonstrated success in a sales or business development role within IT or a related technology environment
- Experience managing the end-to-end sales process including quoting, solution design, and negotiation
- Proven ability to convert leads and grow accounts across products such as infrastructure, cloud, MDM, or mobile devices
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
