The Opportunity: The Senior Account Executive in Toronto will be responsible for using previous experience and relationships to sell to advertising agencies, holding companies and clients directly. The ideal candidate will have existing relationships with strategy and planning teams at OMG and IPG agencies. Reporting to the EVP of Canada Sales and based in Toronto, our Account Executive will be part of the larger Sales team. What You’ll Own/ Responsibilities: * Establish and build upon relationships across major media companies and advertising agencies in Canada to learn strategic business needs in order to propose meaningful media buys and create meaningful original content partnerships across multiple clients * Must be familiar with the media sales landscape and must be able to negotiate terms with minimal training and oversight * Must have the ability to independently prospect, set meetings, present with passion, and to find unique solutions for both brand clients and network talent * Collaborate with internal teams to learn the Studio71 creator network and how to position inventory within the market What We’re Looking For/ Qualifications: * 7+ years’ experience selling to the major holding companies in Toronto. * Preference will be given to those with a successful track record selling to the IPG agencies * Experience selling programmatic OLV a preference Manager (DBM),  * Power Editor with some programmatic experience preferred * Proven ability to upsell clients and create compelling recommendations * Is both strategic and tactical * Has experience in both new business and client work (delivery, management) * Client relationship expert and someone who is effective in building upon new client relationships * Must have strong interpersonal & communication skills * Expert in Microsoft office and capable of building revenue trackers and financial modeling * Highly organized and detail oriented * Excellent problem-solving ability * Intellectually curious
Responsibilities
The Senior Account Executive will build and maintain relationships with advertising agencies and holding companies in Canada to drive media buys and content partnerships. They will independently prospect new business and collaborate with internal teams to position creator network inventory.
