To accelerate the growth, we’re looking for a Senior Account Executive to join our global Sales team in our Helsinki office. You’ll join a team driving UpCloud’s mid-market and enterprise customer acquisition. As a Senior Account Executive, you will target high-value opportunities to bring in new needle-moving accounts for the company in Finland and neighbouring countries. Your efforts will directly contribute to UpCloud’s growth!
We’re looking for an experienced tech-sales professional who already has an extensive background in high-value complex solution sales and demonstrated experience in bringing in new logos to their business. To be successful in this role, you are someone who takes responsibility for your work and results and solves problems proactively and creatively.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Extensive track record in closing sales roles in IaaS, PaaS, or closely related B2B SaaS companies
  • Demonstrable success in bringing in needle-moving customers to their business
  • Deep understanding of the European tech landscape
  • Proven ability to sell technically complex solutions
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships with C-level clients, partners, and internal stakeholders
  • Experience with modern sales tech tools like Salesforce, Salesloft, 6Sense, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and AI tools
  • Willingness to travel in Europe up to 50% of the time
  • Native in Finnish, with excellent English skills, other languages will be an advantage
  • Location preferably near Helsinki, as that’s where we are headquartered
Responsibilities
  • Managing the entire sales cycle from finding a potential client to closing a deal
  • Bringing in needle-moving cloud workloads from well-defined and selected target accounts
  • Building trustful relationships and understanding client needs deeply through active outbound efforts
  • Proactively learning about UpCloud’s expanding service portfolio, and cloud industry trends
  • Building a strong pipeline together with the team using various communication channels, such as digital marketing, social media, events, and networks.
  • Negotiating agreements and keep records of sales and data
