ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Arcadis seeks a Senior Account Leader / Project Manager to join our team to lead and direct the development of water, wastewater and stormwater opportunities as a client-facing Account Leader and Project Manager in our seller-doer model. This role will focus on growing our business across the Commonwealth of Virginia with an emphasis on the greater Richmond area.
As a Senior Account Leader, you will report directly to the Upper Mid-Atlantic Area Lead and collaborate with regional operations, sales and technical leaders to successfully identify, pursue, win and execute projects and achieve our clients’ objectives while providing excellent client service. In addition, you will contribute to the strategic growth, planning and support of various key market initiatives throughout the Upper Mid-Atlantic Area.
ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
In this role, you will implement strategies to expand services to current clients and develop new clients while building, strengthening and managing client relationships to secure the “trusted advisor” role with our clients.
Key responsibilities will include maintaining an updated and accurate “pipeline” of opportunities; managing and delivering client bookings on a monthly basis; supporting the development of an annual bookings Plan for the region; and collaborating with other Client Account Leads to identify targeted conferences and branding priorities and associated budgets.
Moreover, the role will require developing and updating detailed client account plans and managing client teams effectively. Understanding client organizational processes and culture to develop value-added solutions is crucial. Leading pursuit plans, developing and executing client engagement strategies, as well as leading proposal development and interviews to secure new projects, are significant aspects of this role.
The role will also involve developing or reviewing scope and fee proposals and overseeing the planning, design, and construction administration of projects to ensure the delivery of quality services and deliverables within project schedules. Acting as a senior technical resource or project manager on small to large-sized, multi-disciplined municipal water, wastewater and/or stormwater projects and supporting the development of early- and mid-career professionals will be part of the responsibilities.
This role may require local travel for project site visits, client meetings, etc.
