Position Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Senior Account Manager - Agriculture to join our team. This role is ideal for an insurance professional with a deep understanding of agricultural and commercial insurance products, strong client relationship management skills, and the ability to oversee complex accounts. The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for servicing an existing book of business while providing expert risk management guidance to agricultural and commercial clients.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in insurance account management, with a focus on agriculture or commercial insurance preferred.
  • Active California Property & Casualty insurance license.
  • Strong understanding of agribusiness risks and commercial insurance solutions.
  • Exceptional client service, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to analyze and present risk management solutions to clients.
  • Proficiency in insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned agricultural and commercial clients, providing exceptional customer service and risk management advice.
  • Manage the renewal process, policy changes, and claims support for various insurance policies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with underwriters, carriers, and industry partners to secure the best solutions for clients.
  • Ensure high client retention by delivering timely and effective service and addressing client inquiries and concerns.
  • Assist in onboarding new clients, ensuring they understand policy coverages, benefits, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks affecting agricultural and commercial businesses.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and support staff, to streamline operations and improve service delivery.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior account managers and support staff.
