SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER – COMMERCIAL GROUNDS MANAGEMENT Are you a landscape professional with a passion for horticultural excellence and a knack for building lasting client relationships? We are seeking a Senior Account Manager to lead our Commercial Grounds Management (CGM) division. In this role, you will be the face of the company for our premier clients, ensuring their landscapes thrive while driving growth through enhancement sales and strategic renewals. THE MISSION Your primary goal is to bridge the gap between client vision and field execution. You will manage a diverse portfolio of commercial properties, focusing on customer retention, upsell opportunities (enhancements), and new business development. You aren’t just a manager; you are a consultant who promotes teamwork and sets the gold standard for horticultural care. ---------------------------------------- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES CLIENT RELATIONS & STRATEGIC SALES * Primary Point of Contact: Act as the lead field liaison for all client needs, ensuring "white-glove" service and proactive communication. * Growth & Retention: Meet and exceed monthly sales goals for landscape enhancements and secure long-term contract renewals. * Estimating & Proposals: Conduct site walk-throughs to gather data, estimate costs, and assemble professional proposals for new and existing CGM customers. * Network Management: Maintain professional relationships with on-site contractors, subcontractors, and property managers. PRODUCTION COORDINATION * Operational Clarity: Translate client expectations into actionable work orders for production staff to ensure efficiency and quality. * Collaborative Scheduling: Partner with other Account Managers and Production Supervisors to manage seasonal labor needs and workflow. * Winter Operations: Lead and support snow removal efforts during the winter months to ensure client safety and accessibility. HORTICULTURAL LEADERSHIP * Subject Matter Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of industry best practices, local flora, and commercial maintenance standards. * Client Education: Act as a consultant to clients, educating them on proper horticultural practices and proposing improvements that increase property value. * Safety & Compliance: Safely operate company vehicles and ensure all field requests align with safety and regulatory standards. ---------------------------------------- REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS Professional Development: * Must possess (or be willing to obtain within the first 6 months): * State Pesticide Applicator License * Certified Landscape Technician (CLT) designation * Completion of internal Foreman Training Modules Experience & Skills: * Proven track record in account management or landscape sales. * Strong knowledge of horticultural practices and commercial landscape equipment. * Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple sites and administrative deadlines. * Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. ---------------------------------------- WHY JOIN OUR TEAM?
