Pay Band: 7/F Country/Location: Bangkok, Thailand Department: Exams Contract Type: Indefinite Closing Date: Tuesday, 28 October 2025- 23:59 Philippine Time (GMT +8) Role Description/Purpose The purpose of this role is to manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities to win new business, as well as a portfolio of existing accounts to retain and grow income, ensuring we deliver on customer goals. The role works with stakeholders across our Examinations and English business to sell solutions covering our E&E products and collaborates closely with various stakeholder groups during solution design, proposal and budget development, and through delivery. The Senior Account Manager serves as the key point of contact for the B2B (business to business) accounts they manage, both internally and externally. Role Accountabilities We are looking for a commercially focused and relationship-driven Senior Account Manager to lead business development and account management within a designated territory or region. In this role, you will contribute to the development and implementation of B2B sales strategies, support business planning, and help set income targets across business units. You will be responsible for executing sales strategies tailored to your market, industry, and product portfolio, using data-driven insights to inform regional priorities and drive performance. You will identify and act on new business opportunities, leveraging internal and external networks and monitoring tender sources. Working closely with Business Pursuit roles, you will contribute to prospecting plans, engage with key stakeholders, and manage a pipeline of opportunities from initial contact through to pitching, negotiating, and closing. You will collaborate with internal teams to design solutions that meet customer requirements and work with marketing colleagues to develop annual plans that support sales targets. As a key point of contact for B2B clients, you will lead account planning, support retention and growth, and ensure customer success throughout the journey. You will coordinate internal stakeholders to deliver seamless experiences across solution design, pricing, onboarding, and delivery. Your role also includes managing CRM (Customer Relationship Management) workflows, capturing client data, and providing regular insights to support continuous improvement. You will take ownership of achieving sales targets, managing solution design processes, and negotiating commercial contracts, while recommending improvements to enhance delivery and efficiency. Qualifications & Experience Education: University degree or equivalent in a relevant subject or discipline Certification and Professional Qualifications: Sales or Marketing qualifications Knowledge and Experience Essential 3+ years of sales experience to include some experience of B2B sales Familiarity with Salesforce or use of similar CRM Proficiency in Microsoft office programs Desirable Solution-sales experience in large sectors (e.g financial services, media, pharmaceuticals tourism, government sector etc) Language: Local language proficiency at C2 level for both speaking and writing. English proficiency at B2/C1 level for both speaking and writing.
