Overview We are seeking an experienced and relationship-driven Senior Account Manager to join our Managed Services team. This role is ideal for someone who excels at developing new business relationships, identifying opportunities to help organizations improve their technology, and guiding clients toward solutions that support their business goals. The Senior Account Manager will focus on building new client relationships and helping organizations understand the value of proactive IT management within a fast-paced MSP environment. Responsibilities Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the market. Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients and key decision makers. Conduct discovery conversations to understand business challenges and technology needs. Present and recommend managed IT services and technology solutions aligned with client goals. Work closely with engineering and technical teams to scope and develop appropriate solutions. Coordinate proposals, service agreements, and onboarding activities for new clients. Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects throughout the sales process. Represent the company professionally in meetings, networking events, and client engagements. Ensure new clients experience a smooth transition during onboarding and early engagement. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, account management, or technology sales. Experience working with Managed Service Providers or IT service organizations. Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud services, and cybersecurity fundamentals. Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Proven ability to generate new business opportunities and close deals. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple prospects and opportunities. Ability to collaborate closely with technical teams to develop client solutions. Preferred Qualifications Experience selling managed services or recurring IT service agreements. Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, and cybersecurity platforms. Experience with PSA platforms such as HaloPSA, ConnectWise, or Autotask. Experience participating in local networking groups, industry associations, or community events. Work Schedule Primarily in-office/on road role with some work-from-home flexibility. Standard hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Participation in client meetings, networking events, and occasional after-hours engagements may be required.
