SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER

Hours: Full time, permanent – 4.5 day working week (Mon–Thu 8:45am–5:30pm, Fri 8:45am–12:30pm)
Location: Swanmore (office-based, with customer visits)

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager with a proven track record in project management and business development. This role will combine key account management with a strategic focus on new business growth across both automotive and non-automotive sectors.
You will manage customer projects from enquiry through to production, working closely with suppliers, internal teams, and customers to deliver on time, on budget, and to required quality standards. In addition, you will actively identify and pursue new business opportunities to support our growth strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage a portfolio of key accounts, delivering exceptional customer service and driving revenue growth.
  • Handle new RFQs, including feasibility analysis, supplier liaison, and competitive quoting.
  • Offer technical input on design specifications, material selection, and process feasibility (training will be provided)
  • Negotiate with suppliers to achieve value for money.
  • Create and manage project timelines, proactively resolving risks and communicating updates to all stakeholders.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of customer-specific documentation and compliance requirements.
  • Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities across relevant sectors.
  • Visit customer sites to strengthen relationships and develop new opportunities.
  • Work closely with internal teams (Commercial, Quality, and Operations) to ensure seamless project delivery.
