JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Account Manager with a strong background in Cisco solutions to join our team. This role is focused on building and growing client relationships while driving sales across the full Cisco portfolio, including hardware, software, cloud services, and licensing.
You will act as a trusted advisor, providing clients with tailored Cisco technology solutions that align with their business needs. Combining deep knowledge of Cisco’s services, products, and licensing models with strong account management expertise, you will play a key role in expanding client accounts and achieving business growth targets.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven track record in IT account management and solution sales, ideally with Cisco products and services.
  • Strong understanding of Cisco’s portfolio, including networking, collaboration, security, cloud solutions, and licensing.
  • In-depth knowledge of Cisco’s licensing models: traditional licensing, subscriptions, and enterprise agreements.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to explain complex Cisco solutions and licensing structures clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients and priorities.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
  • Relevant Cisco certifications (e.g., Cisco Business Architecture Analyst, CCNA/CCNP, or similar) would be advantageous.

    Pay: £40,000.00-£90,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of client accounts, with a focus on Cisco products, services, and licensing.
  • Develop sales opportunities across Cisco’s portfolio — including networking, security, collaboration, cloud solutions, and licensing — identifying and closing deals with new and existing clients.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of Cisco’s product and service offerings, as well as licensing models (traditional, subscriptions, and enterprise agreements).
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, delivering exceptional service and ensuring their Cisco solutions are optimised for business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Cisco, vendors, and internal teams (technical, sales, and support) to ensure smooth delivery throughout the sales cycle.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed proposals, presentations, and quotations for Cisco solutions.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed sales and account growth targets.
  • Stay up to date with Cisco technology innovations, industry trends, and changes in licensing, ensuring clients receive the most relevant and timely advice.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling across the Cisco ecosystem, driving additional value for clients.
  • Build and nurture long-term, trusted relationships with clients, positioning yourself as their Cisco partner of choice.
