About the role - Senior Account Manager - Hong Kong The Senior Account Manager – Hong Kong is responsible for driving commercial growth, strengthening strategic partnerships, and improving performance of key accommodation partners in Hong Kong. You will own a portfolio of high‑value partners, act as a trusted advisor, and collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver sustainable, data‑driven results. This role sits within the Partner Services organization and reports into a Market Team Manager covering Hong Kong and the wider region. Key responsibilities Partner portfolio management Manage and grow a portfolio of high‑potential and strategic accommodation partners in Hong Kong (chains, groups, and key independents) Build long‑term, consultative relationships with decision makers at partner organizations Conduct regular business reviews to assess performance, identify opportunities, and agree on joint action plans Negotiate and optimize commercial terms, availability and rate strategies to drive mutual growth Commercial & performance management Own and deliver revenue, margin and share‑of‑wallet targets for your portfolio Analyze market, demand and performance data to identify trends, gaps, and growth opportunities Optimize partner performance across key metrics (conversion, rate competitiveness, availability, cancellation, guest review score) Drive adoption of commercial programs (e.g. preferred programs, visibility products, pricing solutions, mobile and geo‑targeted deals) Strategic planning & execution Develop portfolio plans aligned with market priorities and global commercial strategy Lead joint business planning with top partners, including annual targets, campaign calendars and investment proposals Coordinate multi‑stakeholder initiatives (marketing, content, pricing, product pilots) to support partner and Booking.com objectives Provide structured feedback from partners into internal teams (product, marketing, operations) to influence roadmap and improvements Relationship management & collaboration Act as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders within partner organizations Work closely with market management, marketing, product, finance and operations to deliver seamless partner experience Represent Booking.com at industry events, trade shows and partner meetings in Hong Kong and occasionally across the region Support onboarding and development of more junior commercial colleagues by sharing best practices and coaching when required Operational excellence & compliance Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records of partner activities, opportunities and pipeline in CRM tools Prepare clear, concise performance reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders Ensure compliance with internal policies, legal and regulatory requirements, and brand standards Continuously improve ways of working, processes and tools to increase impact and efficiency Role requirements Experience 5–8+ years’ experience in account management, sales, business development or partner management, ideally in: Online travel, hospitality, technology, or digital / e‑commerce environments, or Related B2B environments with complex stakeholder management Proven track record of managing and growing a portfolio of key accounts against commercial targets Demonstrated experience using data and analytics to drive commercial decisions and build business cases Experience working in a regional or multinational environment is an advantage Skills & competencies Strong commercial acumen and understanding of revenue, margin, and ROI Excellent relationship‑building, negotiation and influencing skills at multiple seniority levels Comfortable working with data, dashboards and Excel/BI tools; able to translate insights into clear actions Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast‑paced environment Self‑starter with a hands‑on, results‑driven mindset and strong ownership Team player who collaborates effectively across markets, functions and cultures Education & language Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Marketing, Economics or a related field (or equivalent experience) Fluency in English and Cantonese.
