EPAM is looking for a Senior Account Manager with expertise in IT and software engineering services to join our team in Germany.
In this role, you will collaborate with best-in-class engineering, digital innovation and design teams who will support you in shaping product vision and delivering impactful results for our clients.
As a Senior Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of key accounts with a focus on commercial management, business development and delivery governance.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven track record in roles such as client engagement management, delivery partner, client partner or account management for software engineering and digital transformation services
  • Demonstrated success managing client engagements in dynamic environments, ensuring projects meet expectations and deliver measurable value
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with IT services delivery, working closely with engineering and design teams
  • Background working with clients in automotive or manufacturing sectors is an advantage
  • Experience managing client expectations across delivery and commercial topics with confidence and professionalism
  • Strong problem-solving and creative-thinking abilities with a consulting mindset
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with experience in P&L ownership and driving business growth through add-on sales and close client management
  • Ability to engage with and earn credibility from senior executives, influencing decision-making processes
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required, German is a plus
Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing clients with insights into the latest technology trends to support their strategic goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technology-driven transformation projects across various industries
  • Identify, generate and assess new business opportunities with support from sales and pre-sales teams, create compelling proposals and presentations, establish senior relationships and help close deals
  • Shape and scope IT engagements, establish optimal operating models and project team structures, own transitions from sales to delivery and ensure seamless execution
  • Stay informed on emerging industry trends, unique market challenges and opportunities to guide clients through business and digital transformation
  • Build and maintain strong senior-level relationships with clients, external partners and internal teams to drive growth and long-term partnerships
  • Align with business unit goals to support revenue and profitability targets
  • Oversee contract negotiations and manage pipeline forecasting to ensure predictable delivery and revenue flow
  • Drive account planning activities to identify growth opportunities and define strategic initiatives with clients
  • Support and mentor junior account managers and delivery teams to build a culture of client-centricity and operational excellence
