Impact XM is a global leader in experiential marketing, and we’re seeking a Senior Account Manager (Pharma & Trade Shows) to lead high-value pharmaceutical and healthcare accounts. In this role, you’ll combine strategic thinking, client relationship management, and operational oversight to ensure programs exceed expectations while mentoring junior team members and contributing to agency growth. This role is ideal for a client-focused leader who thrives on managing complex accounts, coordinating cross-functional teams, and delivering outstanding results in live, virtual, and hybrid experiential programs. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING CLIENT LEADERSHIP & RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT * Serve as the primary strategic and operational advisor for key healthcare/pharma clients. * Build and maintain long-term relationships grounded in trust, delivery excellence, and business insight. * Lead client onboarding, ongoing business reviews, and day-to-day program check-ins. * Identify opportunities for account growth and help clients achieve broader business objectives. * Partner with Sales and Account Directors on RFPs, proposals, and new business initiatives as needed. PROGRAM OVERSIGHT & COORDINATION * Oversee multiple experiential programs, trade shows, and events from concept to completion. * Ensure alignment across Creative, Production, Field Services, and external vendors to meet client goals. * Monitor timelines, deliverables, and quality standards for all client-facing programs. * Support troubleshooting and decision-making during live events or virtual executions. FINANCIAL & BUDGET MANAGEMENT * Manage account budgets and program financials, including forecasting and tracking spend. * Partner with Estimating and Finance to ensure accurate scopes, invoicing, and revenue recognition. * Maintain detailed project documentation, from proposals to post-event reporting. TEAM LEADERSHIP & MENTORSHIP * Coach and mentor Account Managers and Coordinators, helping develop their skills and career paths. * Share best practices to improve processes, enhance client service, and strengthen team capabilities. * Collaborate cross-functionally to support agency growth and maintain high client satisfaction. WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE * Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience). * 4–7+ years managing complex experiential or trade show programs, preferably in pharmaceutical/healthcare marketing. * Demonstrated success managing client relationships and delivering strategic guidance. * Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools.
