Description

As a Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing medium to large scale secondary and digital analytics research projects. This will include using a suite of media monitoring and social listening tools, as well as media measurement methodologies, to track information and produce actionable research reports to guide our clients’ communications strategy. The work will be primarily conducted in English so fluency, both written and verbal, is essential.
This role will be at 60% dedicated to one of our biggest – and fastest growing – accounts in EMEA, in the logistics & international trade sector. This is a unique opportunity to be a part of a highly visible, growing account and work with a large global client helping to analyse and shape their brand strategy and evaluate their performance.
The rest of the time, the Senior Account Manager will lead or co-lead ad hoc research projects, spanning a variety of sectors and methodologies.

Responsibilities


    • Be a strategic support to the logistics & international trade account, and work closely with an Account Director and other managers, sharing responsibilities on the different workstreams

    • Manage secondary and digital analytics projects from start to finish, working on multiple projects within the main account, and across a variety of sectors and methodologies on an ad hoc basis. This will include:
    • o Analyse media coverage (traditional online and / or social media)
    • o Monitor key brands & topics – including sensitive ones – for our clients
    • o Perform media measurement for internal and external communication actions or campaigns
    • o Identify key influencers and trends relevant to our clients
    • o Benchmark our clients with their direct competition
    • o Conduct landscape and whitespace analysis for our clients so they can define their positioning on their market
    • o Analyse quantitative and qualitative data, to produce actionable insights and strategic recommendations
    • Writing presentations, using visual storytelling, and presenting to Edelman teams and / or clients
    • Client relationship management on specific workstreams; be responsible for day-to-day client communications, understand their needs, offer guidance and counsel, provide them with both strategic and operational recommendations, etc.
    • Proposal writing, including methodological design and costing
    • Help manage accounts, supporting on proposal development, project management, and resource planning
    • Provide strategic and consultative guidance to the Edelman teams and our end clients
    • Mentor junior analysts on the team with executing methodological approaches into real-life implementation and production
    • After probation period, line management of 2-3 research executives
