The Senior Account Manager (SAM) is responsible for managing a portfolio of key client accounts, with a strategic focus on relationship management and growth. With 4-6 years of account management experience, the SAM will leverage advanced proficiency in relevant tools and software to oversee a book of business valued at $500K or more, or manage a team book of $1M per month. This role requires collaboration across teams to ensure client satisfaction, drive business growth, and achieve organizational objectives. Proactively manage a designated portion of the book of business, focusing on nurturing existing client relationships. This includes regular outreach regarding order size, frequency, and channels(tactics). Monthly Planning Meetings: Establish monthly planning meetings with the MC to review the overall book of business and to prioritize outreach. Ensure that 2/3 of the book of business are contacted and managed monthly this could change depending on pod structure. Delegate responsibilities to AMs or Asst. AM. Actively participate in daily stand-up with reviews of SalesView with the MC and AM (if applicable) to discuss account statuses, identify issues, and priorities. Discuss concerns, identify bottlenecks, and adjust priorities to meet client needs effectively. Delegate / reassign responsibilities as needed. Preparation for Client Interactions by reviewing Recent campaign performance Current program (frequency, volume, channels) Additional program enhancements to suggest (commentary or via email) · Contact existing client to solicit next orders · Process Order o Consult with MC if necessary o Finalize Route selections o Submit creative requests, ensuring all client-supplied imagery and graphic elements are obtained efficiently. · Update MUS SalesView with next due reminders · If the Pod lacks Asst. AM, reassign responsibilities to individuals in the Pod for the accounts. · Review status of accounts with Asst. AM (when applicable) o Request administrative support from Asst. AM to complete book management Administrative Responsibilities Organize and manage responsibilities for other team members of the Pod, including Responding to requests from MCs for o Non-standard penetration reports o Suppression list uploads o Design request o Tracking number provision o Non-standard Match-back analysis outside of ROI Tool Requirements Qualifications: 4-6 years of account management experience, with a strong emphasis on client relationship management. Advanced proficiency with UpSwell tools and relevant software. Proven experience managing a book of business valued at $500K or overseeing a team book of $1M or more per month. Leadership Responsibility This position does not carry supervisory authority, but does include responsibilities for training and mentoring team members and supporting the Pod Leader.
