Your role in a nutshell

In this role, you'll manage a portfolio of clients, build strong relationships and help drive successful campaigns and new business opportunities across VML Commerce.

You'll work closely with Account Directors and multidisciplinary teams to turn client objectives into great work, while leading projects from brief through to delivery. You'll also support and mentor junior team members and help identify opportunities to grow our client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

For our business to work, you will be required to spend time on certain areas of the business. Your key responsibilities are as follows:

  • Manage day-to-day client relationships across campaigns and projects.
  • Support the Account Director and identify opportunities to grow existing accounts.
  • Lead medium to large projects from brief through to delivery.
  • Bring strategic thinking to client challenges and help translate objectives into clear actions.
  • Lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary and cross-agency teams.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, SOWs, billing and delivery.
  • Lead client meetings, presentations and project briefings.
  • Keep up to date with clients, their industries, competitors and emerging trends.
  • Identify new opportunities and contribute to pitches and new business.
  • Mentor and support Account Managers and junior team members.
  • Proactively manage risks, dependencies and client expectations.
