ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is sourcing a Senior Accountant for a 3-month contract.

About the Opportunity

• Lead all aspects of the accounting cycle, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of financial statements
• Monitor and maintain detailed records for capital assets, investments, loans, and accrued interest
• Manage sales tax (HST) filings and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
• Prepare and deliver quarterly financial statements and perform account reconciliations
• Conduct contract reviews related to financing, purchasing, and asset transactions (e.g., promissory notes, loan agreements)
• Handle journal entry creation for both initial and ongoing accounting events

About You

• Between 3–5 years of hands-on experience in full-cycle accounting
• Solid understanding of corporate tax processes and HST compliance
• Familiarity with partnership tax filings
• CPA designation is advantageous, but not required
