Our client, a reputable organization within the financial services sector, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join their team on a 3-month contract. This position offers a fully remote work environment and presents a strong opportunity to transition into a permanent role based on performance and business needs

• Own the monthly close process and support financial & regulatory reporting
• Act as subject matter expert on complex accounting issues and provide solutions as appropriate
• Serve as the go-to person for financial reporting and monthly close presentations, including preparing variance analyses and commentary on financial results.
• Perform complex analysis and articulate the financial & regulatory implications
• Participate in year-end audits and other audits, preparing supporting workpapers and promptly addressing questions
