ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Accountant supports IAE’s mission-focused work by serving as the technical expert and project manager for accounting processes and procedures. Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Senior Accountant guides the development of accounting procedures, produces and analyzes financial reports, aids in grants and contract management and compliance tracking, and performs accounts receivable tasks and supports accounts payable tasks.
This is an exciting time to join IAE and our Finance Team. We have recently transitioned to Sage Intacct accounting software from QuickBooks Desktop and established a new fund structure with our board. This is an excellent opportunity to join an organization and help build new accounting policies and procedures from the ground up that takes advantage of our new platform and establishes a solid financial understand from which we can continue to strategically grow our organization.
