Job Description Trident Consulting is seeking a " Senior Accountant (Accounts Payable – AP Manager) ” for one of our client in " San Francisco, CA ". Job Title: Senior Accountant (Accounts Payable – AP Manager) Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid – Onsite Mon, Wed, Thu) Duration: 5 Months Contract Pay Rate: $50/hr - $$53/hr on W2(Inclusive all) Job Summary Client is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant (Accounts Payable focus) to support the AP team during a parental leave coverage. This role will act as a backup to the AP Manager and play a key role in ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across AP operations. The candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, FP&A, Supply Chain, and Operational teams while ensuring adherence to US GAAP and SOX compliance. Key Responsibilities Approve invoices (under $25K queue) including 2-way and 3-way matching Support and act as backup to AP Manager for batch payments Prepare multi-period accounting workbooks and validate with FP&A Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve complex AP issues Ensure compliance with internal policies, SOX, and US GAAP Provide excellent stakeholder support (vendors, internal teams) Assist in process improvements and special projects Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting 3+ years of accounting experience (public accounting preferred) Strong understanding of: Accounts Payable processes Invoice processing & reconciliation 2-way / 3-way match Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Highly detail-oriented with ability to multitask Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
