Qatar Airways is looking for experienced staff to join our account receivables team as Senior accountant to drive its Global Business Services (GBS) operations in Ahmedabad, India. The position will be responsible for performing account receivables activities like verifying, processing & reconciling invoices/ expenses as per company policy, procedures & guidelines. Responsibilities: • Raising credit/ Debit notes to AR customers • Execute cash application on daily basis by checking supporting documents & payment received in bank • Analysis of agents sales performance versus credit limits/ securities furnished & report to team lead • Preparing monthly AR reconciliations • Responding to queries of internal & external audits • Document change/ updates in SOP • Performing other duties as directed by Team lead Be part of an extraordinary story Your skills. Together, everything is possible. • Bachelor’s/ Master's degree or equivalent in Commerce with relevant experience • Experience in AR team of global organization • Minimum 2 years relevant work experience • Prefer candidates from Airline industry • Working knowledge of IATA/ ICH/ ICCS/ CASS rules • Knowledge of oracle ERP • Good understanding of local accounting standards • Strong communication skills About Qatar Airways Group Our story started with four aircraft.
