JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of VAT, corporate tax, VAT registration, VAT refund processes, and be capable of managing accounting operations for multiple businesses. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, ACCA, or CA certification is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
  • Strong knowledge of VAT regulations, corporate tax, and financial reporting standards.
  • Experience in handling multiple business accounts and financial management.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, or similar ERP systems).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Strong understanding of UAE tax laws and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee financial statements, general ledger accounting, and month-end/year-end closing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations, including timely filing and reporting.
  • Handle VAT registration, VAT refunds, and tax audits, liaising with authorities when necessary.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for multiple businesses.
  • Review and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting.
  • Implement and improve internal controls and accounting policies to enhance financial management.
  • Assist in the preparation of corporate tax filings, tax planning, and strategy development.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.
  • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and reconciliations.
  • Provide financial insights and support to business owners and senior management for decision-making.
