As an Senior Accountant, you will take ownership of our financial operations from A to Z under Belgian law - ensuring accuracy, compliance, and reliability in everything we do. 🌟 Your Mission 🚀 How you'll make an impact: Manage all accounting processes from A to Z, in line with Belgian GAAP and tax legislation Oversee monthly, quarterly, and yearly closings, ensuring timely and accurate reporting Prepare statutory financial statements and coordinate with auditors Handle VAT, corporate tax, and other local compliance requirements Monitor cash flow, payroll accounting, and expense control Collaborate with management and the supply chain team to provide financial insights that drive strategic decisions Continuously optimize accounting processes for efficiency and scalability 🧩 What makes you a great fit: 7+ years of professional experience in accounting under Belgian law Solid expertise in A to Z accounting, yearly closing, reconciliation and statutory reporting Strong knowledge of Belgian GAAP, VAT, and corporate tax compliance Experience working with auditors and external advisors Proficiency in accounting tools and ERP systems (experience with NetSuite is a plus) Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills in English, Dutch and/or French Hands-on, structured, and proactive - ready to take ownership and bring clarity to the numbers 🎁 On top of a competitive salary, we offer: 32 vacation days (including 12 additional leave days) Healthcare benefits (through Alan) Group Insurance Meal vouchers Flex Income Plan (through Payflip) Stock options Fun team drinks & events A brand new office in the heart of Brussels
