We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in various accounting functions, including corporate accounting, financial management, and regulatory reporting. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing insightful financial analysis to support decision-making processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent certification REQUIRED
• Proven experience in public accounting or corporate accounting roles.
• Strong knowledge of accounting and cash management principles.
• Proficiency in financial report writing and general ledger accounting practices.
• Familiarity with double entry bookkeeping concepts and financial software applications.
• Excellent analytical skills with a strong understanding of financial concepts, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of work.

• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP and IFRS standards.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation to maintain the integrity of financial data.
• Manage cash flow and perform cash management activities to optimize liquidity.
• Prepare regulatory reports and ensure compliance.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic planning.
• Perform account analysis and account reconciliation to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
• Utilize accounting software such as Sage for efficient financial management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights on financial performance and operational efficiency.
• Support payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Engage in technical accounting research to address complex accounting issues as they arise.
