As the Senior Accountant, you’ll report to the CFO. The main responsibilities of the Senior Accountant are:
? Manage and/or execute the following for the client and its portfolio companies:
? Accounting & reporting
? Month-end close processes
? Account reconciliations
? Accounts payable & expense reimbursements
? Accounts receivable, invoicing & collections
? Payroll via third-party provider
? Insurance coverage via third-party providers
? Maintaining capitalization tables
? Tax requests for third-party tax preparation
? Due diligence requests from investors and acquirers
? Other projects & initiatives with the Chief Financial Officer
? Collaboration with the Financial Planning & Analysis department
Requirements:
A successful Senior Accountant Candidate will have:
? Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or another quantitative discipline
? 3+ years of demonstrated experience in accounting
? Ability to manage and maintain a general ledger
? Ability to execute and improve efficient month-end accounting closes
? Ability to generate financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
? Technical accounting research skills
? Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
? Evidence of advanced problem-solving, innovative thinking, and strategic planning to deliver creative solutions
? Ability to work collaboratively on multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment with strong time management and organizational skills
? Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication, and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
? Must be able to perform in a high-pressure environment, and be able to meet tight deadlines
