Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Accountant to join Alo’s growing accounting team. In this role, you will play a key part in the month-end close, financial reporting, and maintaining the integrity of our general ledger. You’ll work cross-functionally with teams across the business to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial results while supporting ongoing process improvements as we continue to scale globally. Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries during the monthly and year-end close process. Perform balance sheet reconciliations, investigate variances, and ensure accuracy and compliance with US GAAP. Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. Assist in developing and maintaining accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. Partner with FP&A, Store Operations, and other cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Collaborate with external auditors by providing schedules, documentation, and explanations as required. Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy. Support special projects including ERP upgrades, process automation, and ad hoc analyses. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. CPA or CPA eligibility preferred. 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience; mix of public accounting and corporate experience a plus. Strong understanding of US GAAP and internal controls. Experience in apparel, e-commerce, or consumer products industry preferred. Big 4 or large public accounting firm experience strongly valued. Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, or similar) and advanced Excel skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate cross-functionally. International accounting or reporting experience highly preferred The base salary range for this position is $100,000-$120,000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees.
