Duties and Responsibilities We are seeking a Senior Accountant to provide assistance in establishing a month end close process that ensures timely and accurate financial reporting throughout the organization. The Senior Accountant will be supporting the Director of Accounting in all necessary tasks to ensure all accounting functions are properly carried out. Responsibilities include: Preparation of monthly accounting entries Preparation of payroll journals and payroll reconciliations Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules Preparation of IC Reconciliations and variance investigation Preparation of Bank Reconciliations Preparation of revenue schedules and reconciliations. Work on lease accounting and data for lease classification and reconciliations Monthly P&L review and analysis Preparation of Software Capitalization schedules Assist with the preparation of consolidated financial statements Assist in annual external audits with preparation of requested documentation Assist with the preparation of quarterly bank covenants Backup other finance department duties as needed and engage in special projects as assigned Qualifications Include: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance 3+ years experience in an Accounting role Strong analytical and communication skills Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Capable of working autonomously and taking initiative Good understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles SAP Business ByDesign experience, a plus. Location: Boston, MA Compensation: $95,000 to $115,000 + bonus Our offices utilize a hybrid work model and this role will be expected to be in the office on a regular basis.
