SUMMARY

The opportunity is with a small E&P company looking for someone looking for an excellent opportunity to grow and take on more responsibilities as they earn owner’s trust and confidence.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have minimum 3+ years accounting experience with an oil & gas exploration and production company.
Good working knowledge of some or all of the following:
· Oil & gas sales verification and payment process.
· COPAS accounting procedures.
· Revenue and expense decks.
· Joint interest billing process.
· Cash flow forecasting for oil and gas properties.
· Federal and state taxation of oil and gas operations.
· Accounting and computer system controls.
· Insurance requirements of oil and gas operating agreements.
· Familiarity with OGSYS, Open Invoice and reserve economics software PHDwin would be a positive.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Self starter able to identify opportunities and requirements.
· Looking for someone who hungry and eager to grow into the Controller role and eventually the CFO role.
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business with an emphasis on Accounting. CPA a plus but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $130,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
