Description:
Assistant Manager
Responsibilities:
- Supervise, coach, and delegate work to juniors in team
- Review financial statements and tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, companies, and SMSFs
- Assist Partner with business performance, structuring, wealth, and asset protection engagements
- Manage end to end a designated client list, managing the initial scope of clients’ requirements
- Set budgets and delivery timelines, and manage fees and requirements that fall outside of scope
Experience and academic qualifications required:
- Bachelor’s degree, and have completed CA/CPA studies
- Approximately 5+ years’ experience in Australian public practice
- Experience in managing client relationships, and leading complex and diverse engagements
- Thorough understanding of tax issues such as Division 7A, GST, FBT SMSFs
- Experience in coaching and managing workflow of junior staff

- Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, companies, and SMSFs
- Prepare and implement tax planning strategies and initiatives
- Assist Manager & Partner with business performance, structuring, wealth, and asset protection engagements
Experience and academic qualifications required:
- Bachelor degree in Accounting or Commerce, and either studying or have completed CA or CPA
- Approximately 3-5 years’ experience in Australian public practice
- Exposure to large business structures, and complex and diverse engagements
- Good understanding of tax issues such as Division 7A, GST, FBT and SMSFs
- Experience in supervising and delegating work to junior staff
