Description

Accountant We are seeking a Accountant with a strong analytical mindset to join our dynamic finance team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys tackling complex accounting challenges. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting critical business decisions. Key Responsibilities Perform complex account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly. Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement. Manage and execute month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for a new software implementation (prior UAT experience not required, but must be willing to be trained)(UAT testing OR Parallel Testing experience preferred). Assist with process improvements and contribute to system enhancements. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required). Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles. Proven experience with: Complex reconciliations Variance analysis Month-end close Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with large ERP systems. Excellent communication and collaboration skill Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Jacksonville, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $41.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
